Welcome to PSWorkshop Blog

Today is an exciting day for me, after Months of deciding or rather trying to make a decision to add a blog, well as you guess here it is. I’m usually not quick to just jump on the band wagon so I decided to do something different. I was mainly convinced due to the fact I spent lots of time blogging on other web sites. But my main concern was time – will I have time to provide valuable information relating to Photoshop and Photoshop Tutorials and would there be an audience for that type of blog. Well the thought was over very quickly after searching the blog’s that were available out there. You would not believe what people blog about! But I guess if they could have a show about nothing they could have blog’s about nothing. So here we are my Grand Opening for PSWorkshop Blog and where do we start?

Many of us are everyday users trying to learn Photoshop and the tools associated. But in my biased opinion this is the best place to start. With our database containing over 2000 Photoshop Tutorials ranging anywhere from creating a basic web site logo to making President Bush look like Pre-Bush. But we all know – ok some of us know that youth is difficult to keep, but with tools available in Photoshop President Bush could look like Governor G.W. Bush again.

And for many of you who are College students like me, who decided on taking that Photoshop class for that easy A. WRONG, it not that easy!  Yes that’s also what I read about Adobe Photoshop Elements – here’s the course description “learn to quick fixes, organize and electronically share your digital photos and albums”. Now how difficult could that be for a person of my nature? Having created a web site and thinking I know it all. If you’ve taken the class, you now know it’s not as simple as it sounds! Well you will find that you are only good as the instructor says you are. Anyway it was a great class and yes, even I learned a lot, I guess the stick figure man thing is out. I will let you know how the re-take goes.

You are now stuck with me until – your computer freeze up while drawing that perfect stick man. Be sure and check out the tutorials, they are a great resource and if you’re anything like me they are great examples. And if your are taking any of the Adobe courses – don’t tell anyone, but most of the tutorials comes with step-by step instructors, also be sure and give me your comments.
